Adkins Speed Center’s Rental Karts provide an adrenaline rush like no other, reaching speeds up to 45 MPH! Our karts feature an unrestricted, 9 horsepower 4 stroke engine providing an exciting, safe, high-adrenaline racing experience to both individuals and corporate groups alike. 

We are open from noon – 8 PM every day except Monday. Additionally, events such as corporate group rentals and our Adkins Karting Championship events for kart owners may limit rental availability so please check our up-to-date schedule.

Karting is one of the most exciting and purest forms of Motorsports available. Adkins Raceway, the only outdoor track in Ohio with rentals. We are located in Port Washington, OH, just off of Route 36.

RACING REQUIREMENTS

Adkins Speed Center provides a professional racing experience, with high-performance Rental Karts that can reach speeds of 45 MPH. Drivers must meet minimum age restriction of 12 years old and a minimum height requirement of 56” to drive the karts

WHAT YOU NEED TO RACE

    • No experience is required to race our Rental Karts
    • Helmet and neck collar rental included with all kart rentals
    • Head socks for inside helmet are available for purchase
    • Driving suits are NOT required, but are a fun addition to any race
    • Shorts and t-shirts are permitted – you MUST wear closed-toe shoes
    • During cold weather conditions, dress appropriately; gloves recommended

KART RENTAL PRICING

Enjoy the thrill of reaching speeds up to 45 MPH in our fast and safe karts, while racing around our outdoor 4/10-mile, 9-turn concrete surfaced professional grade kart track.

    • Kart rental prices are per racer
    • Each race lasts a full 10 minutes

PRICING

    • $25 for one race, per racer
    • $15 for each additional same day race, per racer

RENTAL RULES/FAQ

      1. No drugs or alcoholic beverages.
      2. No profanity.
      3. No fighting.
      4. No children under 12 and drivers under 56-inches tall.
      5. No reckless driving such as bumping, rubbing, hitting. The customer will be held liable for any damage to karts due to reckless behavior on the track!
      6. No refund for reckless driving.
      7. Proper attire required — closed-toe shoes are required .
      8. All payments due in full at time services are rendered.
      9. All prices are subject to change and are non-negotiable.
      10. Adkins Speed Center reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot abide by the above rules. Minors MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian of the minor.
